James 5:20

remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

your FIRST love

You might tell yourself everyday:
"I am a man of great deeds!" GREAT!
"I am a man who works hard and perseveres in everything I do!" GREAT!
"I cannot tolerate wicked men, and I test the heart of men!" GREAT!
"I have never grown weary for the Gospel, I have endured hardship for the name of Jesus!" GREAT!

But look at what Jesus spoke to the Church in Ephesus (Revelation 2:2-4)

"I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love"

It IS possible that in all the wonderful works you do, there is something you have forgotten; something that has been missing.. Go back to the source and REMEMBER your first love- his name is Jesus Christ! And if you have forgotten this first love, then he holds something against you

Romans 8:38-39

For I am convinced that neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons,
neither the present nor the future,
nor any powers,
neither height nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the
love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Chronicles 7:14

IF my people, who are called by my name,
will humble themselves
and pray
and seek my face
and turn from their wicked ways,
I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land

Isaiah 55:11

Too often as a Christian, I feel scared to preach the Gospel; to open my mouth and tell of what God has done for my life; to preach the truth and give words of life that will give purpose and direction for those that have not experienced the love of Christ. I ask myself questions: will I be good enough? Will I be timid? Am I creating a gate or adding to the fence? How will they react? Will I be able to answer their questions?....

The words of Isaiah 55:11 are a promise made to all believers that if they just open their mouth and preach His heart, His gospel, and His message, those words (and the actions that accompany those words) will ALWAYS be successful!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Lord speaks:

so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it (NIV)

So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty--handed. They'll do the work I sent them to do, they'll complete the assignment I gave them (Message)

It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. (NLT)

That's how it is with my words. They don't return to me without doing everything I send them to do (CEV)

The Days of Your Youth!

Ecclesiastes 11:9
Be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth

Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth

Ezekiel 16:22
In all your detestable practices and your prostitution you did not remember the days of your youth

Ezekiel 16:43
Because you did not remember the days of your youth but enraged me with all these things, I will surely bring down on your head what you have done, declares the Sovereign LORD

Ezekiel 16:60
Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you

"How are you living the days of your youth?"

Psalm 46:10, Isaiah 45:22

Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth

-------------

Turn to me and be saved,
all you ends of the earth;
for I am God, there is no other

Preaching the Gospel!

Romans 10:14-15
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

Philippians 1:15-18
It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. The latter do so in love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice...

As Bonkke would say: "an unpreached gospel is NO gospel at all!"

As Jesus would say (Luke 8:39):  "Return home and tell how much God has done for you."

Words for Young Men:

How can a young man keep his way? By living according to your word. Psalm 119:9

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22

Encourage the young men to be self-controlled. Titus 2:6

All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD. Proverbs 16:2

Be on your guard; stand firm in faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Proverbs 4:18-19, Psalm 32:1-2

The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of dawn!

But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.

Blessed is he whose sins are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit!

You Want A Sign?

Many people come to my site and want a sign from heaven, a miracle, or some proof of God's existence... Let me leave you with Jesus words from Mark 8:11-12:

To test him, they asked him for a sign from heaven. He sighed deeply and said,

"Why does this generation ask for a miraculous sign? I tell you the truth, no sign will be given to it."

A Time 4 Everything!

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

> A time to be born and a time to die

> A time to plant and a time to uproot

> A time to kill and a time to heal

> A time to tear down and a time to build

> A time to weep and a time to laugh

> A time to mourn and a time to dance

> A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them

> A time to embrace and a time to refrain

> A time to search and a time to give up

> A time to keep and a time to throw away

> A time to tear and a time to mend

> A time to be silent and a time to speak

> A time to love and a time to hate

> A time for war and a time for peace

                               Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Isaiah 45:22, 1 John 4:14/ 5:5

>LET ALL THE WORLD LOOK TO ME FOR SALVATION... FOR I AM GOD... THERE IS NO OTHER!

>And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world!

> Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God!

Philippians 3:18-19, 1 John 2:22

> For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their God is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.

> Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ.

1 John 5:12

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Amazing Scripture:

The path of the righteous man is like the first gleam of dawn... Proverbs 4:18

The Lord will protect you and keep you safe from all dangers. Psalm 121:7

You lead me to streams of peaceful water and refresh my life. Psalm 23:2

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Revelation 3:12

Revelation 19:5-6

Then a voice came from the throne saying:

"Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both small and great!"

Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud pearls of thunder, shouting:

"Hallelujah! For our Lord God almighty reigns! Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!"

James 2:19

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that- and shudder.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

...You see it is not enough that you "believe in God" or know that he exists...even satan and his demons believe and know that!...it just isn't enough...

Two Greatest Commandments:

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"

Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your strength and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment.

And the second is like this: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.'

(Matthew 22:36-39)

For God so loved...
