"I am a man who works hard and perseveres in everything I do!" GREAT!
"I cannot tolerate wicked men, and I test the heart of men!" GREAT!
"I have never grown weary for the Gospel, I have endured hardship for the name of Jesus!" GREAT! But look at what Jesus spoke to the Church in Ephesus (Revelation 2:2-4)
"I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love"
It IS possible that in all the wonderful works you do, there is something you have forgotten; something that has been missing.. Go back to the source and REMEMBER your first love- his name is Jesus Christ! And if you have forgotten this first love, then he holds something against you Tips 4 Evangelism
The Two BoxesI have in my hands two boxes, Which God gave me to hold. He said, "Put all your sorrows in the black box, And all your joys in the gold." As Christians we are called to be Christ's ambassadors! 2 Corinthians 5:20- We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. As ambassadors:
Paul writes in Ephesians 6:20 that he is an ambassador in chains. No matter how hard the times may get, remember who you are representing because he remembered you throughout the toughest time a person has ever experienced! Go, and be an ambassador for your King! |
